AI & Deep Tech PR
We make it understandable and compelling.

The companies that win the narrative are rarely the ones with the best technology. They are the ones whose idea can be repeated accurately by a journalist, an analyst, an investor and a stranger on a panel, without the founder in the room.
Blue Soul Media is a technology PR and branding practice for AI and deep tech companies: the ones working on something genuinely new, where the category does not exist yet and the explanation has to be built before the coverage can be.
Founders Building Breakthrough Technologies
- AI companies: foundation models, applied AI, AI infrastructure and AI safety
- Deep tech and frontier tech: robotics, climate, space, biotech, quantum, advanced materials
- Technical founders who are brilliant in the work and losing the room in the telling
- Research teams and labs commercialising for the first time
- Companies whose technology outpaces their category, so the press has nowhere to file them

Alignment & Positioning to Strategy, Launch & Impact
Positioning and Narrative
Find the one idea you want to be known for, then build the language everyone else can carry. Category definition, messaging architecture, the founder story, and the technical explanation that survives a non-technical retelling.
Media and Analyst Relations
Tier-one technology press, trade and vertical media, analyst briefings, product review programmes, launch and funding announcements.
Founder Visibility
Keynotes, TED-style talks, podcast tours, bylines and panels, with media training and spokesperson preparation for the whole leadership team.
Launch
Product launches, funding rounds, research releases and category launches, run as one full sequence from the embargo list to the week after.
Translating Complex Technology
Long Before AI Companies Existed
Renee Blodgett ran global communications for Dragon Systems, the leader that made continuous speech recognition successful. She has launched dozens of connected home devices, software and services, and handled the unveiling of Singularity University and Willow Garage, the birthplace of ROS, which most modern robotics still runs on.
She worked for visionary Ray Kurzweil twice, and along the way, a long line of founders and technologists caught at the point where an idea becomes an industry.
Many of them have something powerful to say about the impact of her work.

What Is This Technology Actually For?
Most technology PR sells the capability. We start one layer back: what is this technology for, who does it serve, and what happens to people when it works?
That question is no longer soft. It is the question regulators, reporters, enterprise buyers and your own engineers are already asking about AI, and the companies that can answer it honestly are the ones that get to keep the microphone.
We work with founders who want the story to be true. Not because it is nicer, but because a true story is the only one that holds up under three years of scrutiny.
AI and Deep Tech PR, Answered
What does a deep tech PR agency actually do?
It translates technology the market has no vocabulary for into language that the press, analysts, investors and customers can repeat accurately, and then puts that language in front of them.
How is AI PR different from ordinary technology PR?
AI coverage is adversarial by default. Reporters arrive with questions about safety, training data, jobs and hype. An AI PR agency has to prepare those answers before the launch, not after the first difficult interview.
When should an AI or deep tech startup hire a PR agency?
Before the thing you want to be known for is decided by someone else. In practice that is the point where you can demonstrate the technology and have a funding or launch milestone within two quarters.
Do you only work with conscious or purpose-driven companies?
We work with founders who can answer the question of what the technology is for. That is not a screen for a particular politics. It is a screen for having thought about it.
